If you find an eligible product you've purchased from us at a lower price within 7 days of placing your order, we'll refund the difference, subject to the terms and conditions below.
How it works
1. We regularly compare the prices of eligible Best Price Promise products against selected UK lighting retailers to help keep our prices competitive.
2. If you find an eligible Best Price Promise product you've purchased from us at a lower price within 7 days of placing your order, simply complete our Best Price Promise claim form.
3. If your claim meets our Best Price Promise Terms & Conditions, we'll refund the difference to your original payment method.
How to qualify for a refund
Our Best Price Promise applies only to products displaying the Best Price Promise badge on the Barrett Castle Lighting website.
You can submit a claim within 7 days of placing your order. The 7-day period starts from the date your order is placed, not the date it is delivered. If you find a lower price before your order arrives, you can still submit a claim.
To qualify, the lower-priced product must:
- Be exactly the same product, including the same brand, model, finish, colour and specification.
- Be brand new.
- Be in stock and available for immediate dispatch or delivery.
- Be sold directly by one of the listed retailers which we compare selected items with.
- Include any compulsory delivery charges when comparing prices.
The lower price may be part of a standard promotion or seasonal sale, but it must not be:
- A clearance or end-of-line sale.
- A multi-buy promotion.
- A members-only or loyalty discount.
- A flash sale or limited-time promotion.
- A price requiring a promotional or voucher code.
- A student, employee, trade or exclusive customer price.
- A pricing error or obvious mistake.
The product must be sold directly by the retailer. We cannot match prices from third-party sellers, marketplace sellers or auction websites, even if they appear on one of the retailer websites which we price match selected products.
If the price of your eligible Best Price Promise product is reduced by Barrett Castle Lighting within 7 days of placing your order, you can also request a refund of the difference.
When submitting your claim, please provide your order number together with a link or screenshot showing the lower advertised price.
When you'll receive your refund
Once you've submitted your Best Price Promise claim, our team will review your request and aim to respond within 48 hours.
If your claim is approved, we'll refund the difference to the original payment method used for your purchase. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take up to 5 working days for the refund to appear in your account.

To qualify, the product must be sold directly by the retailer. We do not match prices from marketplace sellers, third-party sellers or auction websites, even if they appear on one of the retailers listed below.
