Castle Lighting was delighted to catch up with Fergal McGurgan the owner of Woodank Kitchens, Omagh who recently launched his new look showroom which features a range of pendant lighting by Castle Lighting.

Located only 10 minutes from Omagh Town this family run company has been trading for over 25 years and has become one of the go to sources in Ireland for a luxurious kitchen. The showroom underwent a full refurbishment program and now displays the latest trends in the world of kitchens, from the traditional to the contemporary.

Commenting on the showroom Fergal explains "Prospective customers can view nine full working kitchens which are fitted with all the latest accessories and equipment to make the kitchen fully functional. This approach allows our prospective customers to get a feel for the level of quality and functions which could be built into their bespoke kitchen."

We had the privilege of getting a sneak peak look at the nine kitchens displayed in the new showroom and to whet your appetite we reveal four of them.

Stylish In-Framed Kitchen

The first kitchen we viewed was this gorgeous in-framed kitchen which features quartz worktops and on-trend cooper handles and accessories. The floor is oak wood with a tobacco effect and the appliances are by leading brands Küppersbusch and Novy. Taking centre stage is the island which has a raised level seating area and solid oak worktop. The bar stools featured are bespoke and made to compliment the kitchen colours.

Beaded Shaker Kitchen

In this traditional kitchen is a stylish beaded shaker kitchen with luxurious quartz worktops and contemporary stainless steel handles. The appliances are by Neff and the Island has been designed as a dedicated preparation area. To add ambience in the kitchen the island features low level spots which are both stylish and practical. Within this kitchen there is also a low level dining table built in with bespoke chairs which have been made to compliment the kitchen colours.

Luxurious In-Framed 1909 Kitchen

There is a beautiful range of kitchens on display which caught our eye but this one is the ultimate in luxury! It is an in-framed 1909 kitchen with granite worktops and designer handles by Armac Martin. The appliances featured are by brands Neff and Rangemaster and the splashback behind the cooker is an antique style mirror. The real statement piece in this kitchen is however the island which is painted in a bold colour and houses a Belfast sink.

The antique inspired pendant lights add additional impact to the kitchen and their colour complements both the kitchen handles and distressed splashback. Modern High Gloss Kitchen

For the contemporary home owner you will love this handle-less kitchen which is finished in a gloss grey finish. The Dekton worktop boasts a modern yet luxurious feel and Fergal explained how Dekton worktops are one of the newest ultra compact solid surface worktops on the market. To achieve the minimalist look there are many clever accessories within this kitchen such as access pull out systems and internal drawers disguised behind the doors. The appliances featured are by Neff and the sink and tap are by Blanco.

On our visit to the showroom we were delighted to uncover that Woodbank Kitchens not only manufacture and fit luxurious kitchens but they also offer other furniture for areas such as the bedroom and bathroom.
