10 New Laura Ashley Table Lamps to Transform Your Home This Autumn

The darker evenings are on their way, and we can think of no better time to introduce 10 beautiful new Laura Ashley table lamps to our collection.

Laura Ashley is one of our most popular lighting ranges here at Barrett Castle Lighting, and the latest arrivals haven't disappointed. There’s plenty of colour, beautiful ceramics and some really lovely shades and finishes.

We’ve picked 10 of our favourites for you to take a look and see which one you’d choose.

1. Laura Ashley Medlock Table Lamp – Purple

We’ll start with one that feels made for this time of year.

The Medlock LA3756732-Q has a beautiful rich purple ceramic base, antique brass detailing and a natural linen shade. It’s warm without being too dark, and we particularly like the detailing in the ceramic when you see it up close.

At 50cm high, it’s a good size too. We can see this working really well on a console or sideboard, particularly against a more neutral backdrop where that purple can stand out.

2. Laura Ashley Maltby Table Lamp – Blue

The Maltby LA3756738-Q is quite different and probably one for anyone who loves the more traditional side of Laura Ashley.

It has a decorative blue ceramic base with antique brass detailing, but the shade is what caught our eye. The scalloped edge gives it that little bit of personality and ties the whole design together beautifully.

We think this would look particularly at home in a bedroom or living room – classic, but definitely not boring.

3. Laura Ashley Knipton Table Lamp – Red

Now for some colour.

The new Knipton LA3756700-Q comes in three different finishes and the red is probably the boldest of them. There’s a lovely richness to the combination of the patterned red ceramic, antique brass and coordinating shade.

If most of your room is fairly neutral, this is the type of lamp that can completely change it without you having to redecorate anything else.

4. Laura Ashley Knipton Table Lamp – Green

Same lamp, very different feel.

We really like the green Knipton LA3756699-Q. Green is one of those colours that seems to sit comfortably in so many interiors, especially alongside cream, natural wood and warmer neutral shades.

It still makes a statement, but it’s a little softer than the red. And although we’re talking about our Autumn favourites, we’d happily have this one sitting out all year.

5. Laura Ashley Knipton Table Lamp – Blue

And then there’s the blue Knipton LA3756612-Q

Of the three, this is probably the easiest choice if you tend to stick with more traditional colours around your home. The patterned blue ceramic and deep blue shade have plenty of character, but it’s still very easy to place.

Red, green or blue? We’re not sure we could choose either – it really comes down to the room it’s going into.

6. Laura Ashley Holwell Table Lamp – Antique Bronze

If all that colour isn’t really your thing, have a look at the Holwell LA3756644-Q

This is a much more understated lamp, finished in antique bronze with a natural linen scalloped shade. There’s nothing overly fussy about it, and that’s exactly why we like it.

It’s one of those lamps that could move from room to room over the years and still work. A lovely option beside the bed, on a side table or tucked into a cosy reading corner.

7. Laura Ashley Stannard Table Lamp – Green

The Stannard is difficult to miss – and we mean that in a good way.

At around 60cm high, this is a proper statement table lamp. The patterned green ceramic base is paired with polished chrome and a pleated shade, giving it a more substantial look than some of the smaller designs.

We’d put this somewhere it has a bit of space around it. A larger sideboard or console would be ideal, where you can actually appreciate the scale and detailing.

8. Laura Ashley Pashley Table Lamp – Green

This might be one of our favourites.

The Pashley has a soft green ceramic base with floral detailing, polished chrome accents and a natural linen scalloped shade. There’s a lot going on when you describe it, but when it all comes together it just works.

It has that recognisable Laura Ashley country feel without looking dated, and the botanical detailing on the base is particularly lovely.

Definitely one to take a closer look at.

9. Laura Ashley Montford Table Lamp – Blue

Not everyone has space for a large table lamp, which is where the Montford comes in.

At around 39cm high, it’s one of the smaller lamps in our selection. The rounded blue patterned ceramic base and pleated shade give it a very classic look, and we think it would make a lovely bedside lamp.

Blue and white is also one of those combinations that just seems to last. You can change cushions, bedding or other accessories around it and the lamp will still work.

10. Laura Ashley Hare Table Lamp – Antique Bronze

We had to include this one.

The Laura Ashley Hare Table Lamp is completely different from the ceramic designs and has loads of character. The base is a sculpted hare finished in antique bronze, topped with a gathered natural linen shade.

It’s quirky, but not so quirky that it becomes a novelty piece. We think it would look brilliant in a country home, on a hallway console or somewhere slightly unexpected.

And even when the light is switched off, you still have something interesting to look at.

Which One Would You Choose?

That’s our ten, although picking a favourite isn’t particularly easy.

What we like about the latest Laura Ashley table lamps is the variety. If you love colour, there are some beautiful greens, blues, reds and purple. If you prefer something quieter, there’s antique bronze and natural linen. And if you want something with a bit of personality, there’s always the Hare.

More importantly, these are lamps that can add something to a room even when they’re not switched on.

If you’re not quite sure which one would suit your home, come in and see us at Barrett Castle Lighting in Omagh. Bring a photo of the room if you like – our team would be delighted to have a look and help you choose the right size, colour and style for your space.
